Fine Metals
Here at Trinity Barbara [the brand], we aim to offset environmental harm by reducing the amount of first-generation metals (or FGM) and materials and reusing metal scraps that we collect over time. As a young luxury brand, we acknowledge the distance between luxury brands and sustainability; we hope to change the concept of luxury jewelry production as we transition from fully handmade to 100% manufactured (with the exception of our custom and couture inquiries which will remain handmade). We hope to share more information as we receive it and eventually hire a small team dedicated to helping us put our best foot forward as we use our platform to improve the environment.
Gemstones and Crystals
We source the majority of our stones from World of Rocks Ypsilanti currently, which is well-known locally as the best place to source sustainable and ethically sourced gemstones and crystals. We have fully transitioned to sourcing all of our opals, birthstones, and general crystals from World of Rocks.
Environmental Awareness Plan for 2030
As a part of our Environmental Plan which we hope to achieve by 2030, we hope to use 100% recycled materials in our ready-to-wear and made-to-order products. Transparently, tracking the percentage of FGM in metal ingots and scrap that we source from Rio Grande is extremely difficult. That being said, we will try our hardest to do our due diligence as it pertains to the materials we source for your TBtb jewelry.
